Lets hope that's not the case but i'm pretty sure we'll all be lining up for it if it is.

:stupid: Good for you! I can't believe such a basic part of wheeling is so scarce in our club. I'll have my yellow compressor with me too.

it's easy enough to buy and electric but I think we all know how prone to burning up they are. Some of those with yorks in their garages should man up! I'm willing to help for sure.

Agreed thats why I bought it. I've put it off for so long because im spoiled at Pismo and Hollister where there is good air sources but now that we are actually venturing out onto real trails more it was time.

So I ended up filling 17 tires this trip. All in all, the york is a stud. Also, the sag pump proved to be a great upgrade as well as the cooler. I give this project a mission occomplished since everything turned out great and worked really well.

I think more people should start determining how they are going to fill at the end of a trip. Mark's OBA died which left Dan and Rich's air to fill the rest. I would say mine too but it's slow enough that I only got my 4 35"s tire to just over 25lbs by the time the groups was done fight over Rich's. Glad I have a york sitting in my garage. Rick, what happened to your York?

Agreed. It worked very well. I did 6 tires in the same time with my little electric compressor which is like 2.5 times the speed, but that means I was on the same vehicle most of the time where as Rich had to switch so its really more like 3 times as fast. Impressive indeed, I will be referencing your thread soon for mine.

Any thoughts on changes you would make?

I should have checked the oil before using it and I might try to make it lay down so the stock air tubes wern't so effected. Besides that, shit was great.

By lay down you mean mount 90* flipped from where it is? Can you do that without affecting internal oil flow?

That's why the yorks are sweet the oil is in the crank case. Mine going to be clocked at about 90° if all goes to plan.

Good to know. I would also like to retain my stock air inlet hoses so it seems like thats the way to do it.

The suction port has to be on top. That's the only issue Iv'e heard with leaning it over.
